"You're reckless, little one. You never would have made it as Obi-Wan's Padawan, but you might make it as mine."
Anakin Skywalker[src]

Ahsoka Tano (voiced by Ashley Eckstein) is one of the primary protagonists of the Star Wars: The Clone Wars film and television series. She was first introduced in The Clone Wars film as the apprentice of Anakin Skywalker, an apprenticeship not established or mentioned in Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith. She later appeared as an early Rebel leader in the first season finale of Star Wars Rebels, and she will be a recurring character in the show's second season.

As a child, Ahsoka was taken into the Jedi Order by Jedi Master Plo Koon. During the Clone Wars, she was assigned to be the apprentice of Anakin Skywalker, who nicknamed her "Snips" for her snippy attitude. The two fought in numerous engagements of the war, often alongside Master Obi-Wan Kenobi, as Ahsoka continued to train. Some Jedi were concerned that the often-reckless Anakin was teaching Ahsoka to be too reckless on her own, but she greatly respected her master and his teachings. Towards the end of the war, Ahsoka left the Jedi Order after being falsely accused—though later exonerated—of bombing the Jedi Temple, an attack carried out by her friend Barriss Offee. Over fifteen years later, she was a leader in the early Rebel movement that would give rise to the Rebel Alliance.
