Crossing of Fate is a 2001 fan film written and directed by the Dastoli brothers. It tells the story about Evar Dastar confronting his brother, Garek, on Dannid V after he killed his Jedi master, Kubak.

Opening crawl[]

CROSSING OF FATE
The golden age of the Galactic Republic is long
past. Recently elected Chancellor Valorum, leader of
the Galactic Senate, with the help of the venerable
Jedi Knights, plans to bring peace to all beings in
the galaxy.

But all is not well within the ranks of the Jedi. Due
to failures in training by a number of inexperienced
masters, many Jedi have fallen to the Dark Side.
One of these Jedi, GAREK DASTAR, forever severed
his ties with the light when he fought and destroyed his
master Kubak.

While the Jedi Council deliberates over this
disturbing development, EVAR DASTAR, Garek's
brother and a fellow student of Kubak, has taken it
upon himself to confront his sibling and fellow trainee.
Torn by inner rage, Evar has traveled to Dannid V, the
planet where his brother, the renegade Jedi is
rumored to be in hiding…
