Albin Johnson is the founder of the 501st Legion. Johnson, whose member ID is TK 210, founded the organization in 1997 and serves as the Executive Officer of the Carolina Garrison.[2] His daughter, Katie Johnson, who died at the age of seven in 2005, was the inspiration for the character R2-KT in Star Wars: The Clone Wars.[3]
