    The results are in!

These past few weeks, we asked you which Expanded Universe story you would most want to see adapted into a spinoff film or television series. It was a close one, and 138 of you voted, but only one can be the champ!

In first place, with 50 votes, was Timothy Zahn's classic Thrawn Trilogy, made up of the novels Heir to the Empire, Dark Force Rising, and The Last Command. The adventures of Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia, and Han Solo continued in this epic trilogy. They faced off against the evil Grand Admiral Thrawn, the heir to Palpatine's legacy, and even met some new fan favorite characters like Mara Jade.

In a close second, with 48 votes, was everyone's favorite RPG game, Knights of the Old Republic. Set nearly four thousand years before the films, the game follows the former Sith Lord turned amnesic Jedi Knight Revan as he faces off against his former apprentice, Darth Malak, during a war between the Republic and the Sith Empire.

In a distant second place we had a tie between the Darth Bane trilogy and "Other." While we can't know what people meant by other, we do know that the Darth Bane trilogy was written by Knights of the Old Republic writer Drew Karpyshyn. The three books—Path of Destruction, Rule of Two, and Dynasty of Evil—follow the Dark Lord of the Sith, Darth Bane, the sole survivor of the Sith Brotherhood of Darkness and the creator of the Sith Rule of Two from the films.

    • The Thrawn Trilogy: 50/138
    • Knights of the Old Republic: 48/138
    • The Darth Bane Trilogy: 9/138
    • Other: 9/38
    • Star Wars: Legacy: 7/138
    • Dawn of the Jedi: 6/138
    • The Old Republic: 6/138
    • Tales of the Jedi: 3/138

    • Yay we might see Paellion if they follow the Thrawn trilogy. I think I just spelled his name wrong but honestly I don't care :P
